A Senior Oracle DBA is required to work a 5.30pm to 1am shift by our client based near Harrogate in North Yorkshire . You will join a market leading company within commuting distance of Knaresborough, York, Leeds and Ripon and will receive a salary of up to £35,000 + Benefits
The Oracle DBA will join an organisation which provides 24/7 support and will work as part of a highly skilled team managing Oracle, Informix and SQL Server Databases, you will be responsible for supporting both the production and pre-production Oracle database environments, predominately on Unix.

Required Skills:-

- Production Oracle DBA Support (9i, 10g)
- Operating Systems (AIX, Linux, Windows)

- Scripting (SQL, PL/SQL and Shell Scripting)

- Backup and Recovery (RMAN)

- Ensuring security best practices are adhered to

- A Clear Understanding of the Software Development and Release life cycle

- Support of databases in a high volume 24x7x365 environment

This is a superb opportunity for an Oracle DBA who is prepared to work a night shift (5.30pm to 1pm) and some on call out of hours support is required.

Salary – to £35,000 + 20% shift allowance + Excellent Benefits
Location – Near Harrogate / North Yorkshire

Commute from – Knaresborough / Ripon / Leeds / York
